Located in the heart of Limousin , between mountains and rivers , lakes and forests, this region offers numerous possibilities for hiking , cycling, mountain biking, motorbike, horse riding as well as various nature activities such as fishing, canoeing, paddle, swimming in a natural environment, horse riding, downhill mountain biking trails, geocaching (Terra aventura ),… but also a whole varied program of cultural activities , visits such as porcelain and paper factories, tanneries, marzipan, art and history museums, markets with local products , etc.

The land of the owl is the creation of eco-responsible housing. We aim for a gentler and more respectful way of tourism, and hope to do our best to preserve nature . We therefore compost biodegradable waste, invite you to sort your packaging, are in phytopurification of wastewater and everywhere in dry toilets. Our vegetable garden is inspired by permaculture and only leaves room for what is natural.

Our project aims to promote " slow tourism " where everyone can slow down, relax and soak up the benefits of an environment surrounded by nature.

Currently we offer 2 unusual accommodations : the 360°nature caravan and the orchard caravan. And in the longer term, we hope to see the birth of two small lodges .

We live about a hundred meters from the trailer in a typical Limousin farmhouse and will always be there for your requests,sharing of practical information and good addresses. But also prepare good breakfasts , offer a foot reflexology massage or a yoga session.

The land of the owl is a bit of a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the world while enjoying numerous activities and outings in the surrounding area.
